Make a Donation to #GrowGrandRidge a civic program offered through the national program America in Bloom (AIB) called Growing Vibrant Communities™. GVC provides a civic checklist and milestone celebrations along with feedback from communities all across the USA in places where municipal attention is limited or lacking. Since 2019, more than a dozen floral displays, a pollinator garden, a monarch waystation and 13 personal gardens have been tended to support residential living and the surrounding community of the Village of Grand Ridge. 

The program is as large and vast as donor generosity.

Main Street Flower Towers

• $722 FULL PLANTER provides commercial grade pole wrap, self-watering planter install along with the initial floral display of more than 28 plants & filler. GOAL: 11 for 2023
• $444 HALF PLANTER gives us a halfway point to the next FULL PLANTER install! This is the deposit to get the hardware on order and posts ready for plants and season maintenance.
• $55 FLORAL FILLER provides a 2 to 3 gallon mixed blooms container for filling existing displays on a continual process throughout the season TARGET:: min 40 per season

Holiday Winter Wonderland Town Square

• $33 GIFT Contributes one live tree or 3 sets of lights to our Main Street Community Holiday Tree
• $444 SPONSOR provides a themed holiday scene along the lane of trees. Your group is encouraged to add their finishing touches to the scene. Business signage permitted. 

2023 Tulip Time (fall planted bulbs)

• $11 GIFT Contributes one SQ FT of holland bulbs to add to our community planting OCT 2022
• $222 SPONSOR dedicates a 20 SF planting to recipient of your choice

2023 Sunflower Patch (spring planted)

• $22 GIFT provides one foot of tiered community planting of 3 different heights and sizes of sunflowers in Grand Ridge IL
• $333 SPONSOR plants a patch of photo ready sunflowers for Summer 2023 joy. Dedication signage included. 

$99 WORKLOAD During certain times of the year, maintenance such as sowing, pruning, watering and cutting blooms for display take a lot of time and effort. We count on your donations to provide snacks and drinks on volunteer workdays throughout the season.
