WE QUALIFIED!! It has been an intense few days, but you all have been amazing! Thank you for allowing the abrupt energy of random texts, brief emails and social media messaging as we catapulted into a 'sister farm' philanthropy campaign for our holiday giving Let Growth Unite Us project in Grand Ridge. We are about half way to our goal of raising $2500 in our first year of partnership with Caring Hands foundation, a fellow American farmer founded charity that provides their signature Potato Pak to hungry mouths across the world year-round. We raised $1, 2 5 0  in  our  first  day to commence the Buy Two, Send Another company match promotion in place until December 11th, 2022.  **UPDATE: We collected $1, 8 4 0 in  pledges during the promotion and have $700 to go by Midnight on DEC 12TH to make our Launch Goal Pledge!

 

 

THANK YOU! seems so cliché when we consider the impact you help us create! It is not an easy thing to ask for money and I actually lost my breath a few times speaking to some of you. Four or five times, I hung up or passed a number thinking, "Oh I better not bother them." or "What will they think, I haven't talked to them in eons!" But those of you close to me know I intervene traumatic situations more often than ever before. And that is why Tim and I chose community outreach as our encore performance. Because we know the crucial importance of teaching and providing tools of inner peace and human connection. We want you all to know that we are busy doing great things and using our funds to provide mental wellness education and resources right here in LaSalle County, and virtually, across the universe.  

 

 

OUR PHILANTHROPY frames an all-inclusive approach to self discovery, personal empowerment and awakening spirituality. Ohm Sanctuary is our home and Let Growth Unite Us is our voice for public action. Our grassroots effort to change our corner of the world ripples out wherever our participants explore later in life. Partnering with established charities and service groups is our way to expedite significant impact.

 

 

Farmers, Founders and Leadership  We've been steadfast in sharing our personal plight. Diligently inviting your skills, passion, expertise and intertwined missions to deliver our healing sanctuary. We achieved official IL 501(c)3 status in August and look to our supporters to weave the ribbons and tie a bow on our gift to so many seeking mental wellness. From essential renovations to building bunk houses for farm retreat candidates, from virtual support groups to one-on-one garden therapy sessions, we are committed. Along with a solid vision for Ohm Sanctuary, we understand momentum of like-minded visionaries, enthusiastic entrepreneurs and established charities to design a capital campaign, structure community outreach projects and pool a diverse group of enthusiastic volunteers. When we watched the videos you see posted here and as we met with founders from the many groups that come together to make Potato Paks possible, we knew it is a fit for our partnership in providing sustenance in times of crisis, both nationally and around the globe. 

 

 

WE FORMED A CARING HANDS TEAM! This was Tim and Holly's first blitz to set the foundation for years to come. In our first day of partnership we earned $1,250 in pledges toward our lofty $2500 goal to send 625 meals as Potato Paks on the Convoy of Hope this holiday season. We solicited 148 close friends, area farmers and random strangers on the street in a 24-hour blitz to launch our giving campaign. Most of you did not get a chance to respond, 28 of you picked up the phone, 12 of you responded via text or email and five of you pledged in our opening day. Our smallest donation was $10 and we received our very first donation at the $1000 level. Countless supporters contribute enthusiasm and curiosity, two priceless treasures to moving our mission forward.
